FAQ
What can I do with the Train Tours?
The Train Tours provide a charming sightseeing experience with their daily schedules. Each day, there are three unique round trips available, taking passengers to various points of interest. From the start of the journey, an escort accompanies the guests, delivering comprehensive sightseeing information and safety advice in English. This ensures that every passenger enjoys a comfortable and informative tour.
Can I use the train to move from one area to another? Can I get off at a stop and pick up another train to return?
Besides the “Kournas Lake” tour, on the guided excursions it is not possible to get back with another train. So you return to your starting point on the same train.
Where can I pick up the train from? Do I have to come to Georgioupoli or Kavros?
For every excursion, we drive through all pickup points which can be seen in the map in Georgioupoli, in Kavros and in between, to pick people up.
Can I get off at a different point from the pickup point?
You can inform the guide or the driver on the train and ask if it is possible. Usually there is no problem with that.
When should I book my ticket and how?
You can buy a ticket at our salepoints and at our business partners which are shown in the map as well.
Are the tours canceled when it rains?
The roof in the wagons protects our clients from bad weather. So yes, we drive even if it rains.
Can I take a baby carriage on the train?
YES, as long as it fits inside the wagon.
Can disabled travelers join a train tour?
Some of our trains have space for a wheelchair in the last wagon, but it is better to ask at the salepoint if it is available for the certain tour one would like to go.
Can I choose where to sit?
YES, you can sit in any free seat.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. If you have made a reservation and are unable to join the tour, you have the option to either change the date or switch to another excursion of equal value.
